Preventive Maintenance (PM) — A CAR’S BEST FRIEND!

Why Is It So Important to Today’s Vehicles?
PM helps keep your cars and trucks on our Colorado roads longer, safer and with more peace of mind; a simple fact.
See our simple PM checklist below.

Fact: You’ve invested a lot of money, time and effort into having a vehicle you like and that takes care of you, you family and gets you from point A to point B without issue… and that’s the way we want to keep it.

At Pride Auto Care, we understand and perform all preventive maintenance for today’s vehicle, domestic and foreign. We make it a point to educate all our customers on the ‘in & outs’ of PM for their vehicle.

Technicians, manufacturers and industry officials alike say the key to keeping vehicles running well today and down the road is performing routine maintenance. Yet many drivers tend to stall, delay or forget keeping up with some everyday auto-basics.

Interesting stats—A recent survey by the Car Care Council survey found:

  • 25% of cars had low or dirty engine oil.
  • 13% had low or contaminated brake fluid.
  • 18% had dirty air filters.
  • 17% had inadequate cooling protection or low coolant levels.
  • 16% needed new windshield wiper and 27% had low or contaminated washer fluid.
  • 18% needed new belts

Overall, 89% of vehicles were in need of at least one service or repair.

For your convenience, the Car Care Council developed a Service Interval Schedule to help you keep track of regular maintenance. Most of the checks and services described here can be done at little or no cost. Best of all, they are quick and easy to do.
