For the month of May 2012, Pride Auto Care will be donating $1 from our oil changes to support Rachel’s Challenge. A message that is near and dear to the hearts of the four Pridemore brothers and of course to all of our clients who were all impacted to some extent by the Columbine Shootings.
Last year we were able to donate $1530 dollars to Rachel’s Challenge and we hope to top that number with your help this year.
Pride Auto Care donates $1 per oil change to Rachel’s Challenge in May 2012
Rachel’s Challenge is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing bullying, school violence and teen suicides by sharing the story of Rachel Scott, the first person killed in the 1999 Columbine High School shootings.
Rachel deliberately reached out with kindness and compassion to those who were new at school, picked on by others, or just didn’t have any friends. Rachel’s Challenge has become the largest assembly program in the US and was in over 1,300 schools and in front of about 1.5 million kids with Rachel’s message that every student can make a difference in their schools and communities by treating each other with respect and kindness.
Help us make a difference in children’s lives across the World by coming in for an oil change anytime in the month of May 2012. It could be your teen that is impacted from an anti-bullying program such as this one.
